Forrester interviewed several customers that have migrated from the on-premise Ektron solution to Episerver DXP. These organizations deliver content to unique visitors ranging from tens of thousands to millions per month. Read the report to find out the constraints these customers faced with the Ektron system, why the migration to Episerver DXP was necessary and benefits they have seen since migrating.
Following the transition to Episerver DXP, customers were able to take charge of the content release timing and much of the responsibilities previously handled by IT were carved out and collapsed into a shortened workstream with content producers taking control of updates directly.
Key findings
- Customer retention is improved through faster content update cycles and more consistent delivery
- A significant shift and decrease in cost of content management from IT
- An ROI of 202%
Looking at one perspective – say, security – for what we’re paying for security professionals these days, all of that expertise and value they provide is built into the DXP solution. So, if we’re paying for that separately as an on-premises solution, we’re paying a whole lot more for it.
